Determining how to write about oneself on a résumé can be challenging. As a professional résumé writer, I partner with you to uncover and describe your unique strengths, accomplishments, and skills. Using that information, I tailor résumé s and LinkedIn profiles to highlight those unique strengths, accomplishments, and skills for a specific industry and role. This combination optimizes your chances of getting noticed by employers through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) “bot”, and increases the chance to secure an interview.

Once we’ve determined the type of industry and role you are seeking, you’ll have an opportunity to complete a questionnaire to gather details about your work history, accomplishments, skills, and career goals. From there we will review the information you’ve gathered together and discuss any areas where there are gaps or needs clarification. Lastly, you’ll provide “target” job postings to assist comparing your experience with the job requirements to ensure your customized focused résumé is seen by the ATS “bot”.

After gathering your information in writing and through collaborative work sessions, I'll create a draft résumé and share it with you for feedback. We'll collaborate on up to three (3) revisions until you're satisfied with the final version. I'll focus on showcasing your unique value proposition and tailoring the résumé to your target roles.

The timeframe can vary depending on factors like the time needed to identify target roles/industries, the complexity of your work history, the number of revisions needed, and your availability for work sessions and turnaround time to provide feedback on draft versions. The goal is to provide your new résumé within 1 – 2 weeks once your work history is collected and clarified and target job postings are provided.
